Joanna Rowelle

Joanna Rowelle is a Director at Arup and serves as a Board Member for UKIMEA while leading the London and South East region. With over 20 years of experience, Joanna has worked on economic development strategies, regeneration projects, and comprehensive masterplans, advising city governments on governance, infrastructure financing, and economic policy. Joanna previously held roles including Head of Business Relations at the Greater London Authority and Assistant Director of Regeneration. They have co-authored reports on economic growth and social equity and continue to engage in international discussions on sustainable place making. Currently, Joanna is pursuing a Master's degree in Land Economy at the University of Cambridge and holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Westminster.
