Jon Hurt

Jon Hurt is an accomplished Tunnel Engineer with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as an Arup Fellow and Tunnel Technical Lead at Arup since May 1998, Jon has played a significant role in various major engineering projects. Prior to this, Jon worked as a Tunnel Engineer for Bechtel, contributing to the design of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link in the UK, and held the position of Tunnel Shift Engineer at Soletanche Bachy during the Jubilee Line Extension project. Jon began his career as a Graduate Civil Engineer at Faber Maunsell and also gained early experience as a Pre-University Student with the same company. Jon earned a Master of Arts degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge between 1990 and 1993.
