Joost de Jong is a Senior Bridge Engineer at Arup, specializing in the analysis and design of steel, movable, and composite bridges. With experience in both new construction and renovation projects, Joost has worked on notable projects such as the renovation of the Van Brienenoordbrug and the Prins Clausbrug, which won the Nationale Staalprijs in 2022. Previously, Joost tutored high school students and held positions as a Structural Engineer and Junior Structural Engineer. Joost holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from Delft University of Technology.
