Josh DeFlorio, AICP, LEED AP, ENV SP, currently serves as Principal at Arup since July 2025, focusing on the integration of transportation, climate, and community. Prior to this role, Josh held the position of Chief of Resilience & Sustainability at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey from November 2015 to August 2025. Experience includes leading risk and resilience practices as a Senior Associate at Cambridge Systematics, serving as Senior Project Manager at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, and working as a Graduate Associate at the Consensus Building Institute. Early in the career, Josh was a Rappaport Public Policy Fellow at the Massachusetts Port Authority. Josh holds an MS in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA from Brandeis University.
