Justin Abbott

Justin Abbott is an Arup Fellow and Director leading water initiatives in both Europe and Ireland, with a focus on enhancing water support for clients across these regions. With extensive experience since September 1988 at Arup, Justin has held multiple leadership roles, including Global Water Skills Leader, where responsibilities included overseeing the company's water expertise to ensure industry-leading standards. Previous experience includes a position as a Graduate at Halcrow. Education credentials include an MSc in Public Health Engineering from Imperial College London, an Executive Education program on the Resilience of Urban Systems from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a BEng in Civil Engineering from the University of Nottingham. Special interests include water consultancy, due diligence, water risk, water footprinting, and the impacts of water scarcity.
