Kate Hall is an accomplished civil engineer and project director with extensive experience in major infrastructure projects. Currently serving as the project director at Arup for the HS2 London Tunnels project, Kate leads a multinational team of 1,500 engineers in the design of complex civil works for Europe’s largest infrastructure endeavor. Previously, Kate was Design Director at High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd, overseeing technical design quality and project requirements. With a diverse background that includes a global sailing sabbatical and a long tenure at Arup in various engineering and leadership roles, Kate holds a Master's degree in Construction Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a BEng (Hons) in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Bradford.
