Katherine Schwartz

Katherine Schwartz is a Sustainability Consultant and Engineer at Arup since August 2019, following an engineering role at Vanderweil Engineers from January 2017 to August 2019. Katherine's experience includes a research internship at the Laboratory for Sustainable Technology, where work focused on methane cracking for hydrogen generation, as well as conductivity measurement of reduced graphene films and market research for the startup Hazer. Prior to this, Katherine served as a Student Manager at Starbucks, responsible for training new employees and ensuring customer satisfaction. Katherine holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering - Energy and Environment from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University, along with an educational background that includes the University of Sydney and Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School.
