Katie Dobberstein is currently the Service Design Lead for Human Centred Design at Arup, where they direct the service design capability within the Digital Services group. With a strong foundation in user experience and data-informed design, Katie has led various projects aimed at addressing climate resilience and public health decision-making. Previously, they held positions at organizations such as Tesco Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Boston College, acquiring a diverse set of skills in design, research, and stakeholder management. Katie earned a Master of Fine Arts in Design Informatics with Distinction from The University of Edinburgh and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Journalism from Boston College.
