Kirk Ellison, PhD, PE, GE, ENV SP, is a seasoned geotechnical engineer with extensive experience at Arup since March 2012, currently serving as the Americas Ground Engineering Skills Leader and Associate Principal. Notably, Kirk managed the geotechnical design of significant projects, including the Salesforce Tower and Park Tower in San Francisco, and contributed to various other infrastructure developments. Prior to Arup, Kirk completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge focused on advanced constitutive models for overconsolidated clay and held engineering positions at AECOM and Foundation Engineering, Inc. Academic credentials include a Master of Science from Northwestern University and dual degrees in Engineering and Economics from Swarthmore College.
