Laura Chatwin

Laura Chatwin is a Civil Structural Engineer at Arup since September 2014 and has also served as an ICE NE Bridges to Schools Ambassador with the Institution of Civil Engineers since October 2013. Prior experience includes a student mentor role at Newcastle University from September 2012 to July 2014, where Laura supported students in the Mechanics and Materials module, and served as a student representative for the School of Civil Engineering and Geosciences, attending faculty meetings and sharing student perspectives. An internship at Kingfisher Consulting in mid-2012 involved various duties including project preparation, calculations, and client interactions. Laura holds a Master of Engineering degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from Newcastle University, attained in 2014, and completed secondary education at The King's School in Macclesfield from 2003 to 2010.
