Laura Paterson is an experienced civil and structural engineer with a strong background in both buildings and infrastructure projects. Currently serving as an Associate Structural Engineer and Design Manager at Arup since March 2017, Paterson previously held the role of Senior Structural Engineer at Robert Bird Group, where involvement in the $240 million redevelopment of Rod Laver Arena was highlighted. Earlier experience includes a stint as a Concrete III Design Lecturer at the University of Adelaide and as a Structural Engineer at SMEC, contributing to projects in the Adelaide Buildings Group. Paterson holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Structural Engineering, combined with Civil and Environmental Engineering, from the University of Adelaide, completed in 2009.
