Laura Sims

Laura Sims is a Senior Facade Engineer at Arup since October 2014, overseeing significant projects such as Castle Park View, EQ, Intercity House, and West Slope, with expertise in both new developments and recladding. Prior to Arup, Laura held the position of Facade Engineer at Aurecon from June 2012 to July 2014, focusing on façade design, structural calculations, and technical reviews. Laura's career began at Momentum Consulting Engineers, where substantial responsibility was gained as a Structural Engineer from September 2007 to August 2011, working on over fifty projects with diverse structural materials. Laura holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil & Architectural Engineering from the University of Bath and another Master of Engineering (MEng) from the University of Technology Sydney.
