Lauren Howe is a Materials Lead at Arup, where they lead a team of ten materials engineers in Melbourne, focusing on sustainability and project support. Previously, Lauren held positions as a Materials Engineer and Senior Materials Engineer at Arup from 2017 to 2020, following a role as an R&D Intern at Philips in 2016. Lauren also contributed to the Materials & Embodied Carbon Leaders’ Alliance as a Working Group Co-Chair from 2021 to 2022 and is currently a member of the Infrastructure Sustainability Council's Sustainable Materials Technical Working Group. They earned a Master of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Sheffield in 2017.
