Lorna Small is an experienced professional in safety and risk studies, currently serving as an associate principal at Arup since October 2001. Prior to this role, Lorna worked as an independent consultant at greydot Ltd from January 1996 to March 2001, focusing on safety risk studies for various petrochemical, power, and rail projects. Previous to that, Lorna was a principal consultant at Entec Cremer & Warner from November 1990 to December 1995, specializing in similar safety and risk assessments. Lorna holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in the same field from The University of Edinburgh.
