Luke Casey

Luke Casey is an Associate Director at Arup, where they advise clients on ecology and biodiversity risks related to built environment projects. They lead a team focused on biodiversity design and assessment across various schemes, including major infrastructure and urban developments. Luke is dedicated to embedding Biodiversity Net Gain and natural capital thinking in project planning and is involved in developing digital tools for BNG calculations. Previously, they held positions as an Associate and Senior Ecologist at Arup and worked as an Associate Ecologist at CSa Environmental Planning. Luke earned a first-class degree from The University of Sheffield.
