Luv Sehgal is currently a Senior Engineer with ARUP in the Rail & Transit team, working on various projects including those for TTC/Metrolinx, MTA, and Amtrak. They graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, India, in 2012 and earned a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017, where their research centered on transportation engineering. Prior to their current role, Luv gained experience through internships and positions with organizations such as Indian Railways and L&T Ramboll, focusing on track design, maintenance, and project management. Luv has actively contributed to the development of transportation systems to enhance passenger and freight demand.
