Maarten Wessels

Maarten Wessels is the Associate Director of Investor Advisory at Arup, where they focus on technical, commercial, and ESG advisory services for infrastructure investors engaged in energy transition projects, including renewable hydrogen and sustainable aviation fuels. With a background that includes roles at Mott MacDonald, Steer, and LeighFisher, Maarten has contributed to numerous high-profile infrastructure projects across Europe, India, and Latin America. They hold a Master's degree in Civil Engineering and Management and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Twente. Maarten has also served as a board member for jongNLingenieurs, representing young engineers in the Netherlands.
