Malcolm Smith is the Australasian Cities Leader at Arup, where they focus on sustainable urban design and master planning. Growing up and educated in Brisbane, Australia, Malcolm earned a bachelor's degree in architecture at The University of Queensland before pursuing a master's degree in architecture at Yale University. Following their studies, Malcolm joined Arup, leading the Integrated Urbanism Unit in London and overseeing various significant urban projects, including the Wellcome Genome Campus expansion and the revised masterplan for Battersea Power Station.
