Mark Wallace

Mark Wallace serves as the President of the Philippine Tunneling Society and Chairman of the Board of Trustees since December 2020. With extensive experience at Arup since March 1995, roles have included Director and Senior Engineering Geologist to Associate Director. In academia, Mark has been a part-time lecturer at the University of Hong Kong since September 2020, specializing in Site Investigation, and previously taught MSc Rock Mechanics and BSc/MSc classes on Air Photo Interpretation between 2009 and 2015. Mark was also an Invited Board Director for ACUUS from August 2016 to November 2018, contributing to the organization of the 2018 ACUUS Conference. Mark holds an MSc in Engineering Geology from Durham University and a BSc in Geology from the University of Glasgow.
