Mat Peel

Mat Peel is the Principal at Arup, specializing in major projects related to land, planning, environment, and sustainability. With over 20 years of experience, Mat has led diverse teams to successfully deliver complex projects while navigating stakeholder interests and regulatory frameworks. Previous roles include serving as Associate Director at AECOM, leading environmental policy and projects for the Australian and Victorian Governments, and acting as a European Policy Advisor for the British Veterinary Association. Mat holds a Bachelor of Arts/Science (Hons) from Monash University and a Master of Environmental Law from The Australian National University.
