Mel Allwood

Mel Allwood is a Director of Sustainable Buildings at Arup, where they lead a team of sustainability consultants focused on creating low carbon, low impact, and socially valuable buildings. They have a robust background in sustainable design, having served as a Sustainability Consultant and Associate Director at Arup from 2007 to 2017. Mel holds a BSc in Technology from The Open University and an MSc in Environmental Design & Engineering with Distinction from University College London. They are a Chartered Environmentalist and a qualified LEED and BREEAM Accredited Professional.
