Michael Hess is a Senior Façade Engineer at Arup, where they have been since 2011 and have contributed to numerous structural and façade engineering projects. They joined Arup’s Advanced Geometry Unit in 2008, participating in notable projects such as the design of a sculpture by Anish Kapoor and a large-scale sports complex in Abu Dhabi. Earlier in their career, Michael worked as a Structural Analyst in Southampton for four years, gaining experience in advanced geometric modeling and numerical simulation. Michael graduated from the Bauhaus University in Weimar, specializing in advanced structural analysis, and holds a Vordiplom and Diplom-Ingenieur in Structural Engineering.
