Michael Holtzhausen

Michael Holtzhausen is an Associate and the Australasian Technical Lead for Substations & Lines at Arup, having joined the team in 2022. With over 40 years in the Electrical and Power industry, their career includes significant roles at Duvha Power Station, Eskom, and AECOM. Michael's specialty lies in high voltage substation primary plant layout and design, managing complex projects across multiple regions, including South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. They hold a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a Project Management Diploma, along with ongoing education in Project Management.
