Michael Neaves is a consultant and EU policy expert at Arup since July 2024, focusing on policy analysis and expertise within the EU engagement team. Additionally, Michael serves as the advocacy and communications manager for the European Community Land Trust Network and operates as a freelance policy advisor, delivering strategic insights across the buildings and industry value chain. Prior experience includes an expert role in the EU Whole Life Carbon Working Group at ECOS, where Michael contributed to the development of a carbon roadmap, and program management aimed at achieving sustainable built environments.
