Michaela Chen is a graduate civil engineer currently working at Arup since August 2023. Prior to this role, Michaela held multiple positions at The Tower Yearbook, including Creative Director and Design Director from August 2021 to May 2023, and Page Designer from September 2019 to May 2021. Michaela gained practical engineering experience as a Project Engineering Intern at Rudolph and Sletten in summer 2022 and as a Summer Intern at Burne Engineering in summer 2021, assisting with the vertical and lateral design of residential buildings and decks. Michaela earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Loyola Marymount University, graduating in 2023.
