Michelle Roelofs is an Associate Principal at Arup, where they have been since 2021, following their previous role as a Senior Structural Engineer from 2008 to 2017. In addition to their work at Arup, Michelle serves as an Adjunct Professor at both The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, where they developed a course on mass timber construction, and at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering and Mechanics of Materials from the University of California, Berkeley.
