Mike Hughes is a chartered structural engineer at Arup, currently holding the position of Senior Structural Engineer since 2022 after progressing from prior roles in the same firm. With nine years of experience in structural engineering, Mike completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Structural Engineering from The University of Manchester. Earlier in their career, Mike served as a Civil Engineering Scholar at Laing O'Rourke, where they participated in significant projects, including the Manchester Metrolink and Alder Hey Children's Hospital. Mike also worked as a golf attendant during their A-Level studies at St Helens Council.
