Miriam MacLennan is a Chartered Engineer and sustainability advocate with a Master’s degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford. They began their career at Network Rail in 2000, where they held various roles, including Assistant Project Manager and Senior Earthworks Management Engineer, contributing to significant infrastructure projects and leading innovative asset management strategies. Currently, Miriam serves as an Associate Director at Arup, focusing on adapting railway civil portfolios to meet changing transport needs and climate scenarios. Additionally, they are a passionate diversity champion and STEM ambassador.
