Nick Roach

Nick Roach currently serves as an Associate Principal at Arup, specializing as the Australasia Region Facade Skills Leader and South Australian Building Market Lead, while also advocating for the circular economy. With a career spanning over a decade at Arup, Nick has held various roles, including Associate and Senior Engineer within the Facade Team. Additionally, Nick has contributed to academia as a sessional lecturer and tutor at the University of Adelaide and previously at the University of South Australia. Earlier professional experience includes positions at Dewhurst Macfarlane & Partners as an Associate focused on facades and special structures, as well as roles at Engenium and Connell Wagner, where engineering work encompassed both structural and civil projects. Nick holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Adelaide.
