Nick Sartain is a chartered civil engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) practicing in the UK. Currently serving as an Associate Director at Arup and a Visiting Professor of Transport Infrastructure Engineering at Loughborough University, Nick specializes in geotechnical engineering, risk, and infrastructure projects. Previously, Nick held key positions at High Speed Two (HS2) Ltd, including Head of Geotechnical Engineering and Lead Geotechnical Engineer, where they were responsible for geotechnical standards and innovation. Nick earned an MEng in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
