Nigel Cann is currently Arup's Global Skills Network Leader for Chemical Engineering, focusing on the development of Learning Pathways to enhance engineering careers toward Chartership and Fellowship. With extensive experience in risk management, process safety, and dangerous goods, Nigel has held key leadership roles at companies like BlueScope Steel, Australian Vinyls, and GHD. They have also contributed as a Council Member at International Accreditation New Zealand, actively participating in the Audit and Risk Committee. Educated at the University of Auckland, Nigel continues to provide expertise and develop learning plans for energy transitions, including green hydrogen and ammonia.
