Oystein Ulvestad is an experienced structural engineer and digital delivery lead with a strong background in BIM development and project management. Currently serving as Digital Delivery Lead at Arup since February 2024, Oystein has been a BIM developer at Sweco since December 2013, focusing on the research, development, and quality of civil BIM models. As a self-employed structural engineer since August 2010, Oystein has contributed to various projects, including model-based design for structures and bridges on E6 Arnkvern - Moelv. Prior roles include Project Manager at Citec Group, where Oystein coordinated significant projects such as the Swedbank Football Arena and a new shopping center in Kalmar, and a Structural Engineer at WSP Group, managing concrete foundations for the Ormen Lange gas refinery. Oystein holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
