Patrick McCafferty, PE, LEED AP, is a Project Director at Arup and a Lecturer at Harvard University. Beginning their career as an American Scholar in Arup's London office, Patrick holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Civil and Structural Engineering from Cornell University. With extensive experience in international design management, Patrick has contributed to a range of landmark projects, including the US Air Force Memorial and Marina Bay Sands. They have been recognized among the top 40-under-40 engineers in the US and have served on various educational advisory boards and juries. Currently, Patrick leads the Arup Americas East Education Business and is actively involved in enhancing public understanding of the built environment through the Boston Society for Architecture.
