Philip Smith

Philip Smith is an experienced civil engineer with a career spanning over a decade, currently serving as Associate and Principal Civil Engineer at Arup since March 2018. Prior experience includes roles as Civil Engineer and Graduate Marine Engineer at Tidal Lagoon Power from June 2015 to March 2018, as well as a Civil Engineer on secondment at Atkins between June 2017 and February 2018. Earlier in the career, Philip held positions as a Graduate Civil Engineer and Student Placement Engineer at Interserve from September 2013 to May 2015 and August 2010 to August 2012, respectively, where responsibilities included on-site management and surveying. Philip began the professional journey as a Sales Assistant at Blacks Leisure Group, serving customers and providing product information. Philip holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering from the University of Bristol, obtained in 2013.
