Rachel Griffiths

Rachel Griffiths is a skilled ecologist with extensive experience in large-scale ecological projects across the UK. Currently serving as a Principal Ecologist at Arup since September 2025, Rachel previously held the same title at Jacobs from April 2014 to September 2025, where responsibilities included ecologist roles at various levels. Rachel's expertise encompasses EPS licence applications, report writing, and a variety of ecological surveys, including bat, dormouse, otter, and water vole surveys. Additionally, experience includes a temporary role at HS2 Ltd as an Ecology Manager on secondment and contributions to RSPB as a Membership Development Assistant. Rachel's academic background features a Master of Science in Biodiversity and Conservation from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Liverpool.
