Rachel Smith is a stakeholder engagement and communications expert with over 20 years of experience advising developers and landowners. Currently, Rachel serves as Post-DCO Consultation Consultant at Kier Group and Director at Clarence Communications, leading efforts in community and stakeholder engagement across various infrastructure and energy projects. Previously, Rachel held the role of Stakeholder Lead for the A66 Northern Trans-Pennine Project with National Highways, where a successful DCO was granted in March 2023. Rachel's career includes founding a senior partner role at an award-winning communications agency and leading national stakeholder engagement services at Curtins.
