Rhodri Thomas is a Senior Scientist specializing in Water Environment at Arup since May 2016. As a Geomorphologist, Rhodri's expertise includes the interaction between river morphology and benthic invertebrate communities, a focus developed during the PhD research at Cardiff University from October 2013 to February 2018. Prior to the doctoral studies, Rhodri served as a Research Assistant at Cardiff University from July 2011 to February 2013, where monitoring of geomorphological responses of the River Monnow to Kentchurch Weir's removal was a key project in collaboration with Natural Resources Wales. Rhodri holds a Doctor of Philosophy in River Science and a Master of Environmental Science in Environmental Geoscience from Cardiff University.
