Richard Lowe

Richard Lowe is a Director of Energy Consenting and Development at Arup, where they focus on CCS and hydrogen projects, building on their extensive experience in leading 19 energy DCOs. Their past roles include Director of Power and Industrial Consents at AECOM, where they directed multiple power sector DCO projects and environmental assessments. Previously, they served as Technical Director at URS Corporation, leading consent applications for new power stations and overseeing numerous environmental permits across various sectors. Richard holds an MSc in Environmental Pollution Control and a PhD in Tropospheric Ozone Modelling from the University of Leeds.
