Richard Oakley

Richard Oakley is a Chartered Civil Engineer at Arup, where they have worked since 2008, initially as a Technical Advisor for the New Tyne Crossing project before transitioning to a Senior Engineer role in 2012. In this position, Richard is responsible for the design of infrastructure works for both public and private sector clients, including highways and drainage. They also held the role of Borders Rail Design Package Manager during a secondment at BAM Nuttall Ltd from 2013 to 2014. Richard earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Durham between 1998 and 2002.
