Richard Salter

Richard Salter possesses extensive experience in the engineering field, currently serving as the Victorian Group Leader for Structures, Civil Structures, and Building Services at Arup since February 2008. Richard has held various roles at Arup, including Associate Principal and Senior Structural Engineer. Between September 2018 and June 2023, Richard contributed to the Architects Registration Board of Victoria as Director and Deputy Chair. Prior experience includes positions as a Structural Engineer at BuroHappold Engineering and Taylor Thomson Whitting. Richard holds a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Melbourne, earned between 1998 and 2002.
