Robert Bray

Robert Bray is a Senior Fire Engineer with extensive experience in fire safety research and engineering. Currently, Bray serves as a Research Fellow focused on enhancing fire safety at the Office for Product Safety and Standards and works as a Senior Fire Engineer at Arup. Their education includes a PhD in Fire Dynamics and Material Flammability from Ulster University, as well as multiple master's degrees in fire safety engineering. Recognized for talent and commitment, Bray received the 'Up and coming' fire engineer of the year award from the SFPE UK Chapter in 2020 and was a finalist for several notable fire safety awards in 2021.
