Rose Powell is an experienced energy consultant currently working at Arup since September 2022, having previously held the position of Graduate Energy Consultant. Rose served as Chair of the UoB Women's Engineering Society from June 2021 to May 2022, where responsibilities included organizing events and managing communications with industry professionals. An extensive background in placements includes experience with Kent and Atkins, focusing on offshore structures and engineering, as well as a mechanical engineering internship at Thompson Valves Limited. Rose holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath, completed in 2022, and graduated from Parkstone Grammar School in 2017.
