Roy Crielaard

Roy Crielaard is a Senior Structural Engineer and multidisciplinary project leader at Arup, currently involved in various structural engineering projects. Previously, they served as a structural engineer at Heijmans, where they provided expertise on project design and management. Roy was also a researcher at Delft University of Technology, focusing on masonry structures and fire safety in timber constructions. They have been actively engaged in education as a part-time lecturer at Delft University, where they contributed to curriculum redesign and supervised student theses. Their leadership roles included chairing committees at U-BASE and organizing symposiums that bridged architecture and engineering.
