Sabina Burek is an undergraduate engineering student at McMaster University, actively involved in various professional and leadership roles. Experience includes working as a General Member at McMaster Steel Bridge and serving as a Student Representative for the McMaster Civil Engineering Society, both from September 2023 to April 2024. Sabina held the position of Student Field Coordinator at Powell Foundations from April 2024 to August 2024, followed by an Engineering Student role at PCL Construction during the summer of 2025. Additionally, during April 2024, Sabina served as Director of Finance and a Student Representative for the McMaster Heavy Construction Student Chapter. Currently, Sabina is a Geotechnical Engineering Intern at Arup and also mentors students through the McMaster Women in Engineering Society and McMaster Engineering Society. Prior experience includes a position as a Housekeeper at Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise from May 2023 to September 2023.
