Salman Ilyas

Salman Ilyas is an Associate and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Arup, where employment commenced in September 2009. In the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer, Salman leads the mechanical design for large and complex healthcare projects, collaborating with a diverse team of project stakeholders. Prior to this, experience as a Mechanical Engineer involved HVAC design for various building typologies, including airports and hospitals. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Module in Building Information Modeling (BIM) Management from Middlesex University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). Salman also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington and gained initial experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Arup.
