Samuel Cook

Samuel Cook has a solid background in geotechnical engineering and geology, with experience spanning several roles in both educational and professional settings. Samuel's career began with a summer placement at Cundall, where data compilation for desk studies and site visits were conducted. As a Student Representative at The University of Manchester, Samuel gathered and relayed student feedback to enhance the course structure. Additionally, as a Student Ambassador, Samuel effectively communicated course details to prospective students. At Arup, Samuel served as a Graduate Engineer and Engineering Geologist, specializing in desk studies, ground investigation specifications, and supervising projects in complex environments. Samuel holds a Master of Science in Engineering Geology from Newcastle University and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from The University of Manchester, complemented by foundational studies in Geography, Physics, and Chemistry at Chesterfield Sixth Form.
