Shane Myrbeck

Shane Myrbeck is an accomplished professional in the fields of acoustics, audiovisual technology, and theatre, currently serving as an Associate Principal at Arup since June 2009. With a multifaceted career, Shane also operates as a Sound Artist independently since 2007 and held the position of Artist In Residence at the Exploratorium from 2013 to 2014. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from August 2008 to May 2009 and as an Assistant Engineer at Peerless Mastering from January 2006 to June 2007. Shane holds an MSc in Architectural Acoustics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BSc in Audio & Media Technology from the New England Institute of Art.
