Sihua Chen is an Engineer at Arup since February 2023 and a Consultant with Imperial College London Consultants Ltd since May 2022, where responsibilities include advanced laboratory soil testing and advising clients on offshore structure design based on experimental data analysis. Sihua Chen completed a PhD in Geotechnical Engineering at Imperial College London from October 2017 to September 2021, following a Master of Science in Soil Mechanics at the same institution from October 2016 to August 2017. Additionally, Sihua Chen holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Structural Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, completed in 2016, and has participated in exchange programs at Kyushu University and National Taiwan University since June 2015 and August 2015, respectively. Prior experience includes a Practical Engineering Trainee position at the Construction Industry Council in June to August 2013.
