Simon Hurst

Simon Hurst is a Senior Bridge & Civil Structures Engineer at Arup, where they have been instrumental in the design and delivery of large-scale multidisciplinary rail projects. Previously, Simon worked as a Civil Structural Engineer and Graduate Structural Engineer at Arup's Brisbane office before advancing to a Senior Civil Structural Engineer role in Cardiff, managing significant projects like High Speed 2 and the Great Western Route Modernisation Project. They also gained early experience as a Vacation Student at Hatch and Boral Construction Materials while earning a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Civil from The University of Queensland.
