Simon Price

Simon Price is a Chief Engineering Geoscientist with extensive experience in the field of geoscience. After graduating with a BSc in Geology from the University of Birmingham in 1997, Simon worked as a petroleum geologist at Robertson Research and then pursued a Masters in Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Manchester, where they focused on contaminant hydrogeology. Joining the British Geological Survey in 2001, Simon contributed significantly to 3D geological modeling and led efforts in urban geoscience until 2018. They later completed a PhD at the University of Cambridge, specializing in geotechnical variability, and currently hold positions as a Principal Engineering Geoscientist at Arup and an Associate Marine Geoscientist at AtkinsRéalis. Simon is also an active member of various professional organizations in the geoscience field.
